Marriage and the Light of Faith

‘Ikrimah, Sumay’ and Kurayb report that Ibn ‘Abbâs – Allah be pleased with them – said to them:

Marry, for if the servant of Allah commits fornication Allah snatches the light of îmân from him, and may or may not return it to him.

Ibn Sa’d in Al-Tabaqât Al-Kubrâ Vol.5 p287.

    Asalaamu alaykum akhi,

    May Allah preserve you, I just wanted to suggest you put this narration in the marriage section as I didnt notice it there,

    May Allah reward you for all your efforts, a great website maa shaAllah, no gossip just straight to business, the best of examples advising us, perhaps a future project could be to add the arabic text to the narrations,

Jazak'Allaah khayr wa Baraka'Allaahu feek.

    @Umm Sireen:
    Wa alaykumus-salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
    Barakallahu feeki.
    A good suggestion, and one which we hope to implement. There is a temporary mobile friendly version of this site for iPhone etc visitors. It should load automatically depending on your phone.

    @Abu Huraira
    The app you mentioned has nothing to do with this site.
