Rejected Sunnah vs Beautified Opinion

It is reported that Al-Awzâ’î said, “Follow the narrations [ways] of those who have preceded (the Salaf) even if people reject you; and beware of people’s opinions, even if they beautify them for you.”

    As salaamu alaykum akhee,It should be "those who have preceeded" instead of "proceeded".AhsanAllaahu ilaykum wa BaarakAllaahu feekum.

    Jazakallahu khayran for pointing this out. An auto-correct slip-up. It should actually be "preceded."Has been corrected.
